This is an oldie but awesomie classic noir. Jack Nicholson is perfect, before his demeanor became a gimmick - back when he was just subtly sinister. That and with every passing decade the clothes, the cars, and even the furniture gets more glamorous.
If anything, this movie got better/sexier with age.
