Review of Chinatown (1974) by Andres A — 05 Feb 2013
A great product of the time, this semi-environmentalist crime film (somewhat) malevolently satirizes the corruption of justice in the early 20th-Century Los Angeles. Through great performances from Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway, the film conveys a likeable level of urban cynicism (if that is even possible) that few films have ever succeeded in.
