Review of Chinatown (1974) by Kim B — 11 May 2013
A dark noir murder mystery with a very young Nicholson. Nicholson is so young he doesn't even act like himself in recent movies, he is a little less authoritative and commanding. However great acting and interesting movie.
Really liked the ending and some great twists. Polanski seems to be a good director from what I've seen. Detective is always ahead of the audience and helps explain what's going on as u keep guessing.
Great cinematography of a young Los Angeles.
