Review of Chinatown (1974) by Samuel H — 29 Mar 2015
I didn't even like Noir until I saw this movie. Do yourself a favor, stop reading reviews and go watch it. I didn't see all the twists at the end coming and it blew me away. Great performances from everyone involved and that ending was absolutely brilliant.
The expression frozen on Nicholson's face reflected my own. He didn't have to say anything because what could you say? I think it's the first time in my life that I applauded a movie for pissing me off.
