The narration is used too often and typically forces you to interpret shots in a certain way, almost as if the filmmakers were afraid they didn't have enough footage to sustain a full-length film. From a narration standpoint, this film is aimed largely at kids.
On the other hand, there's some downright beautiful photography and breathtaking settings. There's also tons of chimpanzee interaction I've never seen before.
