Review of Chimes at Midnight (1965) by Naoya K — 04 Oct 2013
Marvelous film in almost all senses. Besides directing, which is of course genius, Welles' performance is at his highest - very interesting that Falstaff (his character) has so much in common with himself in the reality.
It is as good and spectacular as some finest works of Akira Kurosawa.
