Review of Child's Play 3 (1991) by Elaine M — 07 Apr 2008
A dodgy addition to the Chucky franchise, which although puts a creative spin on the already recycled concept, fails to hold itself together as anything more than a bit of fun. The opening scene is horrendous so it's impressive that the subsequent ones managed to make up for that.
Overall it's pretty good- Whalin is actually excellent as the 16-year-old Andy who is tormented once again by the doll possessed by the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray. Silly classic horror with a military twist.
