Review of Child's Play 3 (1991) by Christian Anthony S — 26 Sep 2014
Probably the most creatively bankrupt entry in the Chucky series. Despite the well put together authentic military setting, it also seems out of place for a Child's Play.
Chucky is fun, but not at all scary. The performances from the cast was actually not bad, their grunt demeanor doesn't come off phoney.
The finale is probably the most contrived set up which is in none other than a haunted funhouse at some carnival. Sure it's festive and fitting for a horror icon, but rather obvious and convenient for a horror set up and is otherwise unrelated.
Overall it's watchable as a franchise entry, but wholly pointless as a sequel.... even more pointless than the second film.
