Review of Child's Play 3 (1991) by Renzo V — 27 Aug 2014
"CHUCKY'S BACK FOR MORE".
- 'Child's Play 3' is a 1991 horror film by director Jack Bender (Lost, Carnivale) and forms, as you might guess, the third installment of the 'Child's Play' film franchise starring the killer doll Chucky. I must see I didn't like this one as much as the previous films. The story takes place eight years after the events of movie two. This time Chucky finds himself in a military academy, where he tries to transfer his soul into a human body. With Brad Dourif (the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) returning as the voice of Chucky. Look Who's Stalking!
It's been eight years since the Play Palls Company shut down the production line of their Good Guys Dolls. Because the product was their best selling thing, they decide to go back in production. The remains of the bad Chucky Doll get recycled, and what nobody would have guessed: Killer Charles Lee Ray is revived in a new doll. He soon locates the now 16-year-old Andy Barclay, who has just entered military school. Shortly after posting himself to the facility, Chucky goes on another rampage to try and transfer his soul into a human body. Can Andy stop the killer doll a third time?
