Released only a year after Part 2, this is yet another example of a rushed sequel that just doesn't cut it. Who the hell did they hire to wrote this stuff. Obviously, they never thought about plot holes much because this movie is filled with plenty.

Why would a company re-release a toy that the media associates with death? That's just asking for bad press and bad sales. Since when are children put in the same military hall as adults? Who puts a carnival near a military school? Stupid.

If Chucky could possess anybody after he's rebuilt, why did he waste all that time on Andy in Part 2? And why is the haircutter saying that the kids are bald when he's just shortening the hair? A lot of things in this movie doesn't make sense (yes, even for a series like this) and had me shaking my head in confusion.

Setting the story in a military school was a great idea, but they didn't do much with it. There's only one key scene that was pretty cool and the end setting at a carnival was kind of silly (a real blade as part of the ride? come onnn).

Jack Bender does an okay job behind the camera. He does plays with slow motion and the POV shots were a pretty good touch. He also throws in humor that still works. But there's not a drop of suspense here (Part 2 had a bit toward the end) and his stlk sequences drag on considering most people will know the outcome.

The actors were from good to decent but again, I didn't give a crap for any of them except Chucky. Justin Whalin does a good job as the new Andy. He's got the "sad, scared face" down pat and could act scared.

I didn't even recognize Perrey Reeves until I went to review this movie (am currently watching Entourage). Girl beamce a milf! Her acting is great but she was very homely looking in this. Plastic surgery? Jeremy Sylvers is decent but I hated his stupid kid character.

He annoyed me. Travis Fine played an asshole convincingly. Wish he had a better death (whoops spoiler!). Brad Dourif's voice shines through again with his voice alone. Love it. Dean Jacobson looks like a nerd and that's all he was asked of.

Andrew Robinson has a small part that cracked me up in parts. Again, Chucky is the the main reason to watch this one. The effects are well done and the gore is fun times. It ain't nothing to write home about but it's amusing.

The war "game" made way for a great ride and was probably my favorite aspect of the movie. The situational humor and kills were also neat to watch. Chucky is still awesome with the one-liners! But, like Part 2, this is pretty much for horror or Chucky fans with nothing better to do on a hangover day.

This one is a bit dumber than the previous but I still don't think it's a terrible movie. If you dig, dig in...
