Review of Child's Play 2 (1990) by Reid S — 06 Sep 2012
Alex Vincent's back to be terrorised in an overall average sequel which carries on with creator Don Mancini taking whole credit for its writing and new direction, while Brad Dourif returns as Chucky to make more morbid, foul-mouthed wisecracks.
There's little to truly savour, though, as the foster family and everyone-disbelieving-there's-a-killer-doll threads grow tired even in its scant 84 minute running time.
