Review of Child's Play 2 (1990) by Brady L — 28 Jul 2017
This film loses most of the prestige and corniness that the first film enjoyed. Despite that, Child's Play 2 does take you on an interesting albeit slightly predictable journey through round 2 between Andy and Chucky.
The best moment of this movie is by far the moment when Andy confronts the doll not knowing it's Chucky, he says I hate you. Chucky then goes through the line introducing the doll. Watching him trying to remember the name of the doll he is standing in for was entertaining and showed that the director wanted to convey that Chucky could get caught because he forgot the other doll's name.
