Usually a movie like this is very hokey but Child's Play pulls it off. The effect are pretty great , nowadays they would just use CGI but back then they used a fucking robot. The acting is pretty good and Brad Dourif is great as killer doll.
SSadly the sequels started to suck very quickly.
