The original and the beginning of Chucky has always been the best in the franchise. With Brad Dourif playing the voice of Chucky, it is no wonder the horror that was brought to life by a Good Guy doll can scare many audiences world wide.

Although director Tom Holland played much with camera tricks and the doll that turns life-like into a murderous dangerous killer that haunts Andy (played by Alex Vincent), it is how the story was laid out that brings audiences to a different sort of idea and horror that even an evil soul can never die.

The movie is rather short, it has become a cult icon... this original series is the only one that can be taken seriously compare to the sequels, which fails in attempt to deliver a scare.
