As much as I thought Chucky would scare the hell out of me, he didn't. Yes I thought he was creepy, but mostly it was the ginger hair and blank expression. When he finally came alive on screen, I was psyched! He's awesome! While I wasn't too thrilled with the voodoo/Santeria aspect (I kinda just wanted to see an inherently evil doll), it worked.
Catherine Hicks was pretty horrible, but Alex Vincent was so amazing, I was certainly impressed with that kid's acting ability. Dunno if I'm interested in seeing the 2nd one... we'll see.
