What makes this movie work, is that it does not take itself seriously! It's all about watching a fun movie.
The first Child's Play movie is a fairly simple movie about a killer that possesses a doll. Yes, it sounds stupid, but at the end of the day the movie works because it is so stupid. Great to watch with a group of friend and lots of popcorn. There is nothing like bad horror!
