Review of Child's Play (1988) by Matthew E — 26 Sep 2009
A horror movie thats appeals to everybody who's ever been scared of dolls.
Child's Play delivers great thrills and chills with great special effects of its time. It also delivers one of the greatest horror character of all time, Chucky the killer doll.
Chucky is a Good Guy doll who becomes possessed by serial killer, Charles Lee Ray played and voiced by Brad Dourif. They couldn't a more perfect voiceover than Brad Dourif with that sinster voice and unforgettable laugh that would spend chills down anybody's back.
The story is simple to follow but is alittle cheesy. The special effects are great for its time. Actually seeing a moving, speaking, killer doll is amazing to see. Chucky is a character that is unforgettable and should be enjoyed by or scared by to many.
