Review of Child's Play (1988) by Curren W — 29 Oct 2009
Despite a silly concept, Child's Play is a creative and well-constructed horror film. The puppetry on Chucky is simply amazing; they cater to his every move in the same way that Michael Bay's Transformers caters to every part on the robots.
The performances are believable, the writing's not half bad, and the kills are surprisingly creative.
