Review of Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972) by Jon F — 28 Dec 2010
6.6/10-- Low on a scale of screenwriting, cinematography and acting. Very grainy and corny. But as a midnight movie, it is very if not brilliantly done in its way to leave you shivering in your seat laughing with joy.
The zombie effects are horrific and in my opinion the zombie scenes when they are rising from the ground are VERY creative due to the fact that this was the first zombie film to portray corpses rising from crypts.
Orvill is fantastic at the end climax and the teens in the film are cheesey. Overall, if you are searching for a good writen suspenseful film you may want to skip. But if your in the mood for a night of fun, laughs and chills.
.. gather the popcorn and pizza shut off the lights and watch "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things".
