Review of Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice (1992) by Richard L — 19 Apr 2008
Imagine someone watched Children of the corn I, understood the basic narrative structure, and decided to make a sequel loosely based on said structure and story. However, imagine that they also totally missed the point of the first movie and the parts that made it somehow watchable.
Then, you would end up with Children of the corn II. The acting is weak, the happy music is inappropriate (it would fit neatly in a 1970's children movie), the romance is not believable at all, some parts of the story are highly puzzling and, damn it, it's not even scary.
