Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Peter D — 15 Dec 2012
Sometimes there is that occasion where the movie exceeds the book; however this just wasn't the case. I wouldn't say the film did the story justice. I wasn't sure you could make this short story into a film without making it completely "Corny" pun intended.
This movie proved me right. The acting was hard to watch coming from the pack of little kids. Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton were alright though. The ending, in my opinion, was the only real strikingly interesting piece about this movie which saved it from being the lowest possible rating.
Nothing like I was hoping it would be.
