Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Kane L — 15 Sep 2013
The themes and premise are creepy ad disturbing enough to enforce nightmares upon any unsuspecting adult, yet missteps are one of this films most famous traits. Despite low critical appeal and the failure to obtain a status as a stephen king classic, it is well worth a viewing despite its transition from a creepily themed shocker into an implausible supernatural thriller.
It showcases strong performances and enough vision to correctly intercept it's whimsical goals.
