Review of Children of Men (2006) by Devin A — 07 Aug 2012
A brutally captivating, riveting, and ambiguous film that succeeds on so many different levels. Making statements on human society and providing ambiguous solutions. This film on a dystopic future where humanity becomes infertile, succeeds extraordinarily on its storytelling and allowing you to witness the backgrounds and environment of the film.
As a chase thriller you are given riveting exposure to the dystopic environment and possible mirror realities of our time. Alfonso Curaon returns from Y Tu Mama Tambien and gives us a unique masterpiece with some awesome camera work that is profoundly awesome.
