I first saw this movie when I was in high school. And I think that's when I became interested in sign language, really. I love the fact that sign language, can show many different emotions based not just on facial expression, but by how fast the hands are moving.
And the relationship between Bill Hurt and Marlee Matlin is very heart-felt and moving.
