Review of Child 44 (2015) by Jordan S — 19 Apr 2015
A fantastic piece of cinema so much depth in the story deeply disturbing with the plot in general but it kept me so engaged gave me insight and perspective to a different time period And region than I've seen before Tom Hardy and little finger from Game of Thrones as well as the leading lady put on an excellent performance the cold harsh love story that is the third or fourth plotline underlining the story is so interesting in the fact of never seen it in a movie basically a man loves a woman a woman is scared of the man so she feels she has no choice but to be with him man gives up career family status home to stay with the woman after she's been accused woman admits she never even love the man or liked him just tolerated him for fear of something bad will happen to her if she didnt the man always thought it was mutual never would have done anything to hurt her and is crushed that she was the most important thing to him and he nothing but agony to her then come to find out the accusation was merely a test of his loyalty to his country and commanding officers which is he would have passed it would have become the leaving General of the whole military but he chose to do the right thing because he knew she wasn't guilty and wouldn't say she was when it wasn't true that alone is a good movie and that's not even what the movies about and that's just one of the subplots if you read all this I'll be taking time to watch the movie too it'll be much more interesting than this boring synopsis lol.
