"Child 44" was very bleak, boring, hopeless and most of the time even more boring look at the life in Soviet Russia in 1950's, where an officer (Tom Hardy) tries to solve murder case but have his ways blocked by the goverment, because in Stalin's Russia the official party line was that "There is no murders in paradise".

It has a good cast but that's really all. It loses focus many many times and did I mention it get's boring?
