I honestly don't know what some of you've seen, this movie is great. Of course you should know what the U.S.S.R. was like back in the 1950's, but let's not rant about (the lack of your) education.
The fact is, this movie gives an excellent picture of the soviet system. Even the happy ending didn't bother me, which is rare.
