Review of Child 44 (2015) by F B — 05 Jan 2016
Very decent crime thriller lead by a top cast with a very different setting to your average crime movie. There are almost 2 different movies at play here, there is the thriller as one man hunts for a serial killer that his government claims does not exist and there is the historical drama of life in Soviet Russia, a life plagued by paranoia and mistrust as ordinary citizens are labelled enemies of the state on a daily basis for simple misunderstandings.
