Review of Chico & Rita (2010) by Ed F — 18 Nov 2010
This was the 'Surprise Film' at this years (2010) Cambridge Film Festival, and a surprise it was indeed. Never before have I seen a film animated in this style and an animated film containing such a jazzy soundtrack, compelling storyline and a purely adult romantic relationship.
The film is beautifully realised and a pure joy from start to finish.
