Review of Chicken Run (2000) by Jared C — 29 Mar 2011

A film that has been on our shelves for years and has been watched over countlesss times. The film is one of Nick Park's first full lenght feature films, he does really well for a guy who has done animated shorts all of his life.

First of all the cast as British as it is (except for Mel Gibson) are humorous and really funny. The humour has a lot of puns in it and is not anything picked from something else, it is imaginative and original at the same time.

The film however is a complete take off of The Great Escape, but in the end what do we care, the characters all keep us entertained and make us enjoy every bit of this film with all of its catchy dialogue and adventure.

Its truly a terrific film.
