Review of Chicken Run (2000) by Wes S — 14 May 2012
The written jokes often feel too familiar for me, but throughout the movie leaves me giggling from visuals and good pacing. The voice acting is charming and well cast, including Gibson as the welcome Yankee.
Yet, it's a mix of the eye-catching animation (besides the mutant chicken with teeth) and the inventiveness and ingeniousness of the story that charms and wins me over watching this film.
