I group of chickens live a pretty boring life. They have ambitions of escaping, but realize the probability of it happening is fairly limited. One day a rooster with a bad wing escapes the circus and arrives at the chicken coop. The chickens threaten to rat him out if he doesn't help them escape. The rooster finds himself between a rock and a hard place. Can he really help them escape?

"They don't plot, they don't scheme, and they're not organized!".

Peter Lord and Nick Park, who worked together on Wallace & Gromit, collaborate again for Chicken Run. The storyline for this picture is actually very fun and unique in the way it is told. The animation style is brilliant and fun and the voices are very well selected. The voices include Mel Gibson, Phil Daniels, Lynn Ferguson, Miranda Richardson, and Timothy Spall.

"They're going to kill us all!".

I came across this on Netflix and thought it would be an interesting movie to watch with my daughter. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and she laughed out loud several times throughout the film. This movie isn't perfect, but it is definitely entertaining, worth a viewing, and borderline worth adding to your DVD collection.

"I told you they're organized.".
