Review of Chick Magnet (2011) by Kacper W — 24 Jan 2013
A hot horrid mess of three dimwit friends who find the holy grail with a shirt that makes any woman have an uncontrollable urge to have sex with whomever wears it. Of the three dimwits one of them manages to have a wife, who surprisingly decides to divorce him. Ta-da! Magic shirt to the rescue!
The problem now are the two other friends, whose lives are consumed by how many women they can sleep with. As you guessed it, the three fight over the shirt like dogs over beef jerky. Things escalate to the point a drug dealer steals the shirt and attempts to rent it out on the streets of Compton.
To the director's credit there are a few surprising cameos from famous actors like Owen Wilson, Kristen Bell and Tracey Morgan. I don't how these A list stars made it into this mess of a film, but they certainly don't make up for the ridiculous plot that's more predictable than a Disney Channel movie. After all this you're probably wondering if this film is worth watching, and the answer is only if you have absolutely nothing to do and enjoy watching perverts chase women down as if humans were an endangered species.
