Review of Chicago (2002) by Luke H — 28 Feb 2012
I never expected to like this film. But since it is so critically acclaimed I thought I would give it a chance, knowing next to nothing about it. This probably worked in my favour. I knew nothing about the narrative, which was interesting and enjoyable, pleasantly surprised by Zellweger's performance, and recognised more of the songs than I anticipated.
Excellently directed, choreographed and performed. Overall, one of the better musicals that I have seen.
