Review of Chicago (2002) by Sue W — 23 Jun 2012
Fabulous, now that's a Bob Fosse style dance and a half. Cabaret will always be the best, but this is damn good. I love how dramatic and classy it is. The whole thing is so well done, Catherine Zeta Jones is great in the role of Velma she is so made for this kind of Musical.
She really should be in all the Bob Fosse stage shows. Rene was good as her enemy and another stardom seeking killer. But the real shocker is that Richard Gere is actually quite good at singing vaudeville styley, Fab.
Loved it!
