Review of Chicago (2002) by P M — 08 Sep 2012

Not impressed by it in theatres, so I took another stab at it. My conclusion is much the same: a good movie, but largely overrated. Good performances by most of the cast, though I wish there was more of Queen Latifah; a few good numbers with the majority not being particularly memorable or interesting; and the camerawork on the musical numbers kept distracting me, pulling me out of the experience (the singing of the leads did not help either).
