Review of Chicago (1927) by Adam K — 13 Feb 2011
Fun, campy, and flows very well which is everything this genre is about. Not only is it loaded with a great cast giving great performances but the overall feel of the film is remarkable. The musical numbers were put together amazingly without making them too over the top.
The story made sense and every character fit in great. The cinematography was pieced together flawlessly with the 1920's and grungy-glamourous feel of an old time gangster movie.
