Review of Chicago (1927) by Grayson D — 21 May 2011
Chicago embodies exactly what itself parodies: razzle-dazzle. The plot does what it pleases (as long as there's a musical number, it'll be fine) and the cat fight between Renée Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones is pretty much pointless.
An ambiguous movie, but nevertheless enjoyable.
