Review of Chicago (1927) by Elle J — 04 Dec 2011
The film obviously does not compare with the live show but it is pretty damn amazing. Who knew Catherine Zeta-Jones was such an amazing singer? Personally I thought Renee Zellweger was not a good singer but she was amazing as Roxie Hart.
This film couldn't of been cast any better and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The soundtrack is also amazing! Favourite scene of the film is hands down the Cell Block Tango. Amazing on stage, but brought to a whole new level on screen.
Brilliant!!
