Review of Cherry (2021) by Unclewillard — 22 Mar 2021

Your roots are showing. That's the biggest problem I have with this movie. I didn't mind the story, I didn't mind the acting, it was shot well (I even dug some of the dreamier elements), but it tries to rip-off too many better films.

First and most importantly, Jarhead. Not sure what this movie is trying to bring to the table. It seems like it's a love story, "love conquers all," but it apparently doesn't. At least not in the case of addiction.
