Review of Cherry 2000 (1987) by Ryan K — 04 Nov 2011

A fairly silly movie, yet one of my favorites. First and foremost it knows its silly, it doesn't take itself too seriously and yet the message given is one that is worth pondering, if you could have the perfect life partner simply by programming them as such.

..would you? Or could the charisma of imperfection that is an underlying trait in our species overcome our desire to obtain that which we believe to be perfection. Secondly the action sequences are riveting, creative and over the top.

I would recommend this movie to people who enjoy the Mad Max sequels.
