The film, when viewed through the "horror genre" lens, succeeds at being somewhat creepy. It is a perfect "see-it-once" rental movie; yes, it is "bad" in the traditional sense.
But those looking for this kind of movie will be pleased. And one final thing: the movie, just as it is beginning to get tiresome, and the plot has thinned out to crushed-pancake level... the credits start rolling.
It knows it's bad, but it provides just enough fun to make it, well, kinda good.
