Review of Chernobyl Diaries (2012) by Ryan D — 04 Nov 2012

Absolutely loved the setting for this movie! This could have been a fantastic horror movie but after all the jump scares, little violence, and hardly ever seeing the mutant creatures it isn't. The acting isn't terrible and the movie brisks by at a fast pace.

The only problem is like I said above you never see a mutant on screen for more than a second. They could of did this movie a lot better and create more tension if the audience knew what the survivors were up against.

This is still a solid rental and worth your time if looking for a lite scare.
