Review of Chernobyl Diaries (2012) by Jason R — 14 Oct 2013
There are few good things going for this movie, but mostly it's terrible. The plot, dialog, and acting are pretty atrocious. All suspense is set up with easy to guess jump scenes and a shaky camera.
I was really hoping for The Hills Have Eyes combined with Chernobyl as a backdrop. To actually shoot a movie on location at Chernobyl and screw it up this bad is a shame. It could have been great, but instead we have a generic horror movie set in an awesome location.
