Review of Chernobyl Diaries (2012) by David S — 11 Jul 2014
This film uses a similar plot device as the British 70's horror 'Raw Meat' but throws in your typical American teenagers running around a place they should never have been in the first place.
The title is a lie as this isn't a diary of events or documentary like 'Rec' or 'Blair Witch' but still uses a lot of shaky camera moves to hide the fact that the budget is small and the monsters probably look very silly if you stare at them for too long! None of the characters are particularly likeable or memorable and the ending doesn't make any sense at all.
File under been there, done that!
