Pretty much the star or main takeaway from this latest entry into the "found footage" subgenre is that the former city of Chernobyl makes a good location for a haunted house in a horror film.

That that out of the project and you have the standard tropes made fun of in the Grindhouse trailer of Don't. Focuses on a disposable group of trendy and hippy 20 somethings who somehow think it is a good idea just because it is something different and extreme, to take an extreme trip out of the norm with a russian guide into one of the abandoned surrounding cities of Chernobyl which finally has lo enough radation levels to allow for humans to visit without the aide of suits for short amounts of time.

Naturally things go wrong as they loose their guide, van and start running into various forms of radiated locals. Some of the images and shots are reminicient for Aliens, I am Legend, and obviously Blair Witch, there are a few jumps towards the end but also in the end still ranks as formulaic.

Better then most in the genre but that is with a lot of them being pretty lowly rated. Meh.
