Pfieiffer is wasted in this melodramatic drivel. The screenplay must have been written by the laziest screenwriter on the planet given that it is riddled with more cliches than a week's worth of sit-coms.
Costume and set designs are full of eye candy. Kathy Bates steals every scene she's in, as usual. Having said all that, there were folks in the screening I was in who loved it.
