Kathy Bates was the ridiculous character once again and she pulled it off once again. I had a very hard time imagining her as a 'companion' but supposedly this is what she was. The movie has some rather disturbing ideas if you think about it.
Even if it would have been a bit creepy the old lady and the kid should have ended up together.
