Review of Chef (2014) by Dorianator F — 03 Jan 2015
When I sat down to watch this I was merely expecting an average movie on a Friday night.... Boy was I wrong. This is one of those films which you appreciate more days after you watch it.
Positives: the lovely storyline with the chef and his son on their journey makes you feeling warm inside. Let alone thee fantastic soundtrack of Latino and South.
American music which will give any party a unique difference. The sheer site of the various dishes which the chef creates will make your mouth water.
Negatives: you may zone out in parts but something will happen which you grab you and get you back in.
Overall: one word describe this film.... Rocky for the food lover. Would I say it's one of the best films of 2014? A hidden gem I think.
