Disjointed and heavily padded with manipulative food porn, geography porn, culture porn, and inexplicable star power, this movie takes a formulaic plot and makes it strangely implausible. Vergara marries Favreau, and then divorces him for unstated reasons? Yeah right.
Then he and Johansson have some strange food fetish affair? And then Johansson literally vanishes when its time to reconcile with Vergara. Give me a break.
